◎简　　介　
古希腊神话相传自然界的四大元素：风，火，水，土，它们各自有一块代表的神石。这四块元素神石连同第五元素，被蒙督沙瓦人在1914年带离了地球。300 年后，23世纪，地球面临着一场浩劫。蒙督沙瓦人带着第五元素和四大元素神石重返地球，以帮助地球度过劫数。可惜携有第五元素的飞船却被另一外星人孟加罗人击落了。地球人仅获得第五元素的残骸。
　　实验室利用第五元素残骸的DNA重新构造了第五元素，构造出一个漂亮的红发女郎莉露。莉露与一身痞气的达拉斯一同前往一个叫“失落天堂”的星球找寻四块元素神石。但是在战斗中莉露受伤昏迷。最后达拉斯用爱唤醒了莉露，拯救了地球。
